Hey i‘m Eva :)
I'm 24 years old and currently live in Bremen, a small town in Germany. I study art and German at the university. So it's not so far away that I like painting in my free time and I'm a lot creative when I find time for it. In particular, I have discovered knitting for myself since last winter. Meanwhile, I can forget everything and focus completely on a new audio book or even the latest podcast. For example, one of my favorite shows is "Zum Scheitern verurteilt" which means "Doomed to Fail".
I also really enjoy and need to be in nature and get away from the hustle of the city. Luckily, my flat share is not far from a large lake where you can go for a walk or go jogging. However, what I enjoy most is going there in the morning and go swimming a little before the day really starts. For me, this is the best time of the morning.
In addition to my studies, I also work in an organic shop, which is pretty cool because I can always take the sorted imperfect vegetables or expired products with me and thus keep them from the garbage can. It also makes me appreciate food even more.
At the moment I like how it is in Bremen and yet I feel the urge to leave my cozy comfort zone and see new places and meet inspiring people. I want to face challenges and learn new things! I am excited for everything that will come into my life

I love learning a new language, but since my school days I have neglected to pursue it further, which is why I see Workaway as an opportunity, for example, to improve my rusty Spanish and to open myself up to completely new languages

Quais são suas habilidades?
In the past I was able to learn a lot about dealing with children. For example, during my time in a kindergarten, where I volunteered to look after the children during the holidays. In addition to handicrafts, playing with the kids and organizational activities, was cooking for the group one of my tasks, sometimes together with the children. I particularly enjoyed this part as I love to cook. I took a lot with me from this time.
I also have experience in gardening and small manual jobs, which I was able to gain during an internship in a carpenter's business. As part of this, I was always assigned small projects to which I should devote myself in a solution-oriented manner. For example, I helped to renovate a staircase and to clean and repair the roof of a shelter.
In addition, I am well acquainted with the cultivation and care of fruit and vegetables, as I have been growing a wide variety of foods myself for several years, as I find it particularly satisfying to eat the fruit and vegetables I have harvested myself. Through my work in an organic market I was able to learn a lot about the quality of food.

I can easily spent time with myself and immerse myself in a project for several hours. For example, I am currently busy with screen printing and totally committed to implementing my ideas. In general, art gives me a lot or sometimes stupid activities like pulling weeds, where I can simply switch off.
However, I also like being around people, drinking a lot of coffee or just lying in the sun together and reading to each other. My favorite game of all time is Kniffel for me.
I also find joy in analog and digital photography and the subsequent development of the images. I usually try to stick some pictures in my diary to record what happened during the month, because I feel like I forget everything so quickly and time goes by so fast.
