Hi! :)

I’m Elina, outgoing, social, fun and very much excited girl from Finland but with a latin soul<3 I’ve spent a lot of time in Spain and also visited Panama, Cuba, Mexico and Colombia, and made Workaway account to find a volunteering place from latin america and experience the latin culture in a more authentic way.

I was volunteering in Peru, Iquitos, working with kids and now updating my profile while doing a workaway at a dog shelter in Spain.


I speak basic Spanish and understand more than I can say, will learn quickly when I’m around native speakers.

I’ve worked 8 years in corporate HR, which has given me strong organisational & people skills along with a lot of responsobility of course. At this moment in my life I’m exited to do something more meaningful and hands-on.

I’m especially interested in working with children and animals — in families, schools, shelters or community projects. I have experience teaching young kids through figure skating classes, and I enjoy supporting routines, playing, helping with learning and bringing good energy to their day. I also love animals and would be happy to work with them also in the future.

I’m happy to help with childcare, animals, cooking, organising, cleaning, hospitality tasks, light outdoor work and creative or social activities. I learn fast, stay calm and bring warm, easygoing energy wherever I go.

I love environments where people are open, laugh easily and treat each other like family — that’s where I feel most at home.

I enjoy simple everyday things like good conversations, shared meals, music in the background and spontaneous moments. I love dancing, movement and being outdoors, especially in warm and social environments.

I’m a life enjoyer who likes turning small, ordinary moments into something special — whether it’s drinking a Coke from a wine glass, lighting candles, creating cosy spaces or adding a little celebration to everyday life.

Genuine presence matters to me. I value being truly in the moment, open communication, humour and mutual respect, and I feel most comfortable in homes with a warm, human atmosphere.
