Hi!

We’re two sisters from the Czech Republic who love exploring the world in a slightly unconventional way.

Our shared passion has already taken us on some amazing journeys — we’ve spent two summers working at a campsite in the heart of a beautiful Norwegian national park, and last summer we also cooked together for a scout summer camp. These experiences showed us how well we work as a team and how much we enjoy creating, helping, and sharing everyday life with others.

We both love the outdoors, community life, good food, and meaningful conversations.

We also have individual Workaway experiences — Dominika spent time volunteering in Italy, while Kate joined a project in Canada. We both fell in love with this way of traveling and living, which is why we decided to start this new adventure together — in our dream destination, Portugal.

At the same time, we believe it’s important to also share who we are individually:

Hello!

I’m Dominika, a 21-year-old adventurer currently studying dentistry. Whenever I have time off, I love stepping out of my comfort zone and exploring new places.

I’m passionate about connecting with people and discovering different cultures. As I like to say, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.

I’ve spent over 10 years volunteering with the Scout organization, creating programs for children aged 6 to 17. This experience has taught me a lot about teamwork, communication, and leadership.

Last summer, I worked at a campsite in the Norwegian fjords, where I combined work with my love for nature.

I’m excited to meet new people, share experiences, and be part of meaningful projects.

Hi!

My name is Kate, and I’m trying to live an authentic life by following what truly excites me.

I love being outdoors — hiking, camping, rock climbing — anything that brings me closer to nature. I feel most alive when I’m on a mountain or having a deep, meaningful conversation.

I studied primary school teaching and special education, but lately I’ve been drawn more into the outdoor world — guiding both kids and adults to step outside their comfort zones and grow through new experiences. I also spent last winter working as a ski instructor in Austria.

Through Workaway, I spent time in Canada, which inspired me to continue exploring alternative ways of living, meeting inspiring people, and learning from each other.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you, contributing to your project, and sharing what matters most — our time and presence.
