Hi, I'm Dani!

I'm a Spanish multilingual long-term traveler with a solid professional background.

After many years in the tech industry, in 2017 I decided to quit my successful career and sell everything I owned to freely explore the world embracing a nomadic & minimalist lifestyle. Since then I've never looked back! :)

This lifestyle has given me the unique opportunity to spend time in beautiful nature spots around the world, blending my background in technology and management with hands-off work in the sector I'm most passionate about: hospitality. I love the energy of a well-run glamping, the magic of a unique retreat space, and the challenge of making a business run smoother :)

Previous hosts (see "feedback") have praised my ability to add value in different roles: taking charge of operations, streamlining processes and boosting their online presence through website/SEO improvements.

I'm equally comfortable managing front-desk, helping out in / taking care of the kitchen, ensuring housekeeping is perfect, or brainstorming a new marketing strategy.

I'm easy-going, curious, and highly adaptable. I strive to live mindfully and share positive vibes, but I also bring a focused, professional mindset to every role.

Usually I'm seeking paid seasonal roles (in Europe) where I can be a valuable, reliable, and proactive member of the team. If you're looking for someone who can do the job and then find ways to do it better (e.g. with AI-powered tools & workflows), I'd love to hear from you.

I’ve always been fascinated by languages. In the past, I’ve participated in several German-Spanish tandem courses and worked at Babbel, a language-learning platform. Currently, I’m learning Norwegian & Hindi and improving my Italian (B1) and French (A1). I love language exchanges and can help with English, Spanish, and German.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I bring a mix of recent hands-on hospitality experience and a strong background on tech & management.

My recent hospitality ventures range from guest relations to housekeeping and front-desk, more recently driving guest experience optimization and marketing strategies, as well as automating processes, improving websites and implementing SEO strategies. Top hostel in southern Spain, retreat paradise for companies in Germany, unbelievable glamping site in Norway… all of them memorable experiences!

I thrive on fostering teamwork and collaboration, creating environments of psychological safety and innovative thinking. I’m especially excited about leveraging AI to streamline operations, optimize processes, and brainstorm innovative ideas for decision-making. I do reserve time to explore the potential of new AI tools everyday, and… wow, it’s being a game changer!

Moreover, I’m passionate about data-informed decision-making and leveraging the power of reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards. Having seen how many small businesses aren’t fully utilizing these tools, I'm excited to share my insights and practical knowledge to help them thrive.

Last but not least, I love cooking (healthy food!), juggling, playing guitar, longboarding, chess… :)
