I studied literature and trained myself in filmmaking, which is my passion and work. I started getting into Permaculture after volunteering at a farm in Vizianagram and then at Aranya farms near Hyderabad for 5 months until the IPC; where i worked on the farm as well as did the photo and video documentation.
I'm especially interested in learning off grid living, helping out on organic/permaculture farms and alternative cafes and hostels, working with indigenous communities, yoga schools, and other community initiatives. I'm in the process of writing my first feature length script and in my film work I hope to talk about the lives and resistances of India's silent majority.

Vikas was a hard working volunteers, helping us out in all the tasks required. He was a jovial guy add happy to be around. His knowledge and discussions on movies as a budding filmmaker was enriching for us. He also helped us in taking care of the pets and the house when we had to go out for a few days. For which we are very grateful.
