Hi! My name is Cheyanne and I am 29 years old. I am a recent college grad, with a B.A. sociology and minors in Spanish and anthropology, so I am interested in meeting new people, learning about new cultures, and making connections. I love nature and being outdoors. I am passionate about living sustainably and consciously and overall wellness. I am an avid hiker, biker, and trail runner. I also work sustainable horticulture where I have the privilege of gardening daily, and spending all of my time outside. I also have experience working as a receptionist and in personal care. I studied and lived abroad for the first time in Ghana for five months, and had one of the greatest experiences of my life. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to really immerse myself in a culture so different from my own; I had to learn and adapt, and I enjoyed every single day :) While I was in Ghana I met someone volunteering at a hostel through workaway, and I knew it was a program I had to be apart of. Since then I have gone on to volunteer in various countries in Latin America including Guatemala (3x), Nicaragua, Costa Rica (2x), Panama, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Honduras, and Mexico and I have gained a strong level of Spanish. Also, Hawaii and India where I became certified as a yoga teacher. I love to share yoga as much as possible, to connect and be better together.. I am open to all types of work and experiences, I am just trying to learn and share as much as possible. My most recent adventure was Domincian Republic, where I was managing multiple hotels.
