Hi! i'm new here😊 I'm a 22-year-old philosophy student from Turkey. I'm someone who's always been curious about different cultures, people, and ways of life—and that's exactly why i joined workaway.
My first volunteering experience was after the earthquake in Turkey on February 6th. I helped prepare aid packages for those affected. It was a small contribution in a time of great need, but it taught me how meaningful it can be to support others, even in simple ways.
I might seem a bit quiet at first, but I warm up quickly and really enjoy connecting with people. I'm friendly, easygoing, and I love being part of a team. Helping out, learning something new, and sharing stories with others is what excites me the most about traveling.
Some of the things I enjoy and feel confident in are spending time with children, using computers (I studied IT before university), and... making a great salad! 😊 I don’t know everything yet—but I’m eager to learn, try new things, and see where I can be useful.
I speak Turkish (native), English at an intermediate level (B1-B2), and a little bit of Russian (A2). One of my biggest goals is to improve my language skills through real-life experience and daily conversations. I'm also hoping to meet kind, open-minded people along the way—and maybe even explore some places together with those who share the same vibe.
Thanks for reading this! I’d be happy to hear from you and hopefully be part of your project.

I’ve always been interested in languages and the way they connect people from different cultures. My native language is Turkish, and I speak English at an intermediate level (B1–B2). I also know a little bit of Russian (A2), and I’d love to improve both my English and Russian through real-life conversations. One of the reasons I joined Workaway is to practice languages in a natural and friendly environment. I believe the best way to learn is by living the language—not just studying it. I'd also be happy to help others who are interested in learning Turkish or just want to practice. I think language exchange is one of the most beautiful ways to share and grow together.

Quais são suas habilidades?
I have a background in computer studies from both high school and university, so I’m comfortable with basic tech tasks and digital tools. I'm also studying philosophy now, which helps me approach things with patience and open-mindedness.
One of my strong suits is working with children—I’ve always enjoyed spending time with them and I find it easy to connect. I’m a quick learner, adaptable, and not afraid to take on tasks I haven’t tried before.
While I don’t have professional cooking experience, I enjoy helping out in the kitchen and I’m especially proud of my salad-making skills! I'm open to learning more about cooking, gardening, cleaning, or whatever else is needed.
during the earthquake relief efforts in Turkey, I helped prepare and organize aid packages for families in need, which gave me some experience in teamwork under pressure.
Overall,i’m hardworking, friendly, and happy to help wherever I can. I believe every task, big or small, is a chance to learn and grow.
