Hei there,
my name is Baru. I am a very cheerful person with a good sense of humour (at least I think so). I like exploring new ways of life and enjoy life in general (the little things are the best).

Nowadays I spend most of my time in a big city, therefore I miss nature, so currently I am searching for new ways to incorporate nature in my life. I am very interested in foreign cultures and how other people live, I find it very inspiring. Also I’d love to practice my basic skills in norwegian. You can usually find me chilling at home and thinking about life or singing and dancing or playing board games / making art with my friends.

I was volunteering in the Netherlands a few years ago via Wooff, doing everything that needed to be done – mostly gardening and in-house helping (cleaning, sometimes cooking). Now it’s time to try out Workaway. I am very excited to meet you :)

What could be the most useful:
- cooking
- cleaning
- gardening
- e-mail marketing skills (in case it comes handy)
- working with children age 6–17 (I help at children summer camps almost every year)
- languages (studied Czech language, can speak English, now learning Norwegian)
- animal care (mostly used to dogs and rodents, but can take care of cats, chickens, love to learn about bigger animals too)

Other skills (Workaway told me to share everything):
- singing, piano and guitar playing and basic music production
- cutting and braiding hair (of human beings)
- painting, making art
- taking care of puppies
- teaching skills
- communication

I am more than happy to learn more. Learning is one of my biggest priorities, that’s one of the main reasons I am here.
