Hi there! I’m really excited to start my Workaway journey and to get to know people from all over the world. I’d describe myself as an open-minded and curious person who loves to try out new things. At the moment, for example, I’m taking a Spanish course and learning how to play the bongos – two things I never thought I’d enjoy so much!

I’m also an experienced solo traveler and have spent longer periods abroad, including an unforgettable time in Brazil. Traveling on my own has taught me how to be flexible, independent, and open to the unexpected. I love exploring new places on our beautiful planet, and for me, every journey is an opportunity to meet inspiring people and discover different perspectives.

I love meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and exploring different ways of living. For me, Workaway is the perfect chance to share daily life with others, learn from each other, and hopefully make life a little brighter together. Music, dance, and sports are big parts of my life – I enjoy trying all kinds of activities, from team games to something completely new. At the same time, I also value moments of calm and reflection.

One of my goals through Workaway is to improve and use my hands-on skills. I’d like to get more confident in practical, crafty tasks while contributing to meaningful projects. I care deeply about sustainability, animal welfare, fairness, and exploring alternative ways of living that are more in tune with nature and people.

In my free time I like to stay active, be outdoors, and get creative. But what excites me most is connecting with people, hearing their stories, and sharing laughter and experiences. That’s also why I joined Workaway: it gives me the opportunity to discover new places, learn new skills, and meet wonderful people along the way.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Over the years I’ve gained a mix of experiences and skills that I’m happy to bring into any Workaway project. For almost two years I volunteered teaching refugee children, which taught me patience, creativity, and the joy of learning together. Professionally, I have worked in the renewable energy sector, where I learned how important sustainability, teamwork, and responsibility are in creating positive change.

I enjoy being physically active and don’t shy away from hands-on tasks. Gardening, renovation, or general maintenance work are things I like to do, and I’ve also helped renovate my parents’ house, which gave me some practical experience in this area. I grew up surrounded by animals and still feel a very strong connection to them – taking care of animals is something that comes naturally to me and brings me a lot of joy.

Besides practical skills, I’m reliable, adaptable, and open to learning new things. I believe in approaching tasks with a positive mindset and working together to create something meaningful. Whether it’s outdoor work, helping around the house, supporting a community, or caring for animals, I’m motivated to contribute and happy to learn along the way.
