Me and my fiancée are taking a break from our corporate jobs in London to volunteer and travel around South East Asia. I've volunteered for a few months previously in Uganda working with small business owners and living with a host family which brought me a lot of joy and fulfilment, and I'd love to now share a similar experience with my fiancée. We would both love to work with children in a school or similar setting, whether that's teaching English or getting stuck in in other ways and generally making ourselves useful. We're both bilingual and come from Indian / Sri Lankan backgrounds but have grown up in the UK, so think we'd be well versed at adapting into other cultures. We're also massive foodies which is a major reason we want to go to Asia and we can't wait to try absolutely everything!
