Hello! I’m Alexia, a 23-year-old from Belgium :)
I’m currently taking a gap year between my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I studied nutrition at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and I’m now in India to travel, immerse myself in the culture, study Ayurveda, and complete my Yoga Teacher Training.
As you might guess, I have a big passion for food and nutrition, especially plant-based cooking—it’s my love language! Besides cooking, I enjoy staying active with morning Pilates, ocean swims, and hikes in nature.
In terms of skills, I can help with cooking, gardening, child care, and more. I’m a motivated, social, and generally upbeat person who loves meeting people from all walks of life.
Traveling has taught me that the best connections often come from the most unexpected encounters, and I’m here to make new friends and discover more of the beautiful world we live in.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a passion for cooking (mostly plantbased) and love to do everything from scratch. During lockdown, I experimented on things like sourdough, fermented veggies, water kefir, etc. With some failures, but a lot of yummy degustations too! I moreover love to share this passion with people around me.
I am a very tidy and organised person. Contrarily to what most people think, I beleive that cleaning, tidying and organizing things can be therapeutic, even funny.
When I'm at home in Belgium, I am very much involved in the house chores: cooking, cleaning, ironing, etc. And I am therefore always happy to help out around the house. We also have a big garden. It is natural to me to work outside, grow fruit and veggies.
I also have a big family with lots of cousins and I'm used to be around children and teenagers.
I can speak and teach French and English.
In general, I am a motivated person, happy to do any work asked :)
