Atividades em que temos interesse:

We are located in North Carolina about an hour from Charlotte. We are interested in housesitting, pet sitting, working on projects or farms, helping with kids or animals.

Descrição

We are a retired couple and our children are grown and gone. We have no grandkids yet and we miss the opportunity to be around and interact with children. Travel is really what motivates us to think out of the box about ways to see other places and experience new things. We have a motorhome and often travel within the US/Canada once or twice a year. We have been to Europe a few times and would love the opportunity to go back there or other countries to see and experience new people and places. We thrive on finding and trying new experiences. We are active hosts on Airbnb and can provide a link to reviews as both hosts and travelers.

I (Beth) really enjoy people and have spent all of my working years taking care of people in hospitals. I enjoy getting to know new friends and helping whenever I can. I enjoy mission work also and am very adaptable to new situations.

I (Wes), while not quite as social as Beth, enjoy meeting new people and places. I have also traveled several times to do mission work. I am a DIY mechanic and repair guru. I enjoy fixing things and working on old cars.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My skills (Beth) include most things related to taking care of someone in a healthcare situation or setting. I am communicative and enjoy getting to know people. I am friendly and patient. I have some basic carpentry skills as I have done some basic woodworking. I am a crafter, sewing and anything that is creative. I am physically fit and like to hike.

My skills (Wes). My family claims I can fix anything although that is stretching it. I do enjoy working with my hands. I am good at technical issues, repair and troubleshooting. My most recent job was the facilities manager at a private school requiring mechanical, electrical and maintenance skills. I also have some locksmith experience. I enjoy working on automobiles in my free time and projects around our house. I also have some computer skills.
