We take great joy in forging connections with new individuals, whether it's through collaborative projects, tasks at hand, or the simple act of preparing a meal together. Throughout our journeys, we've found ourselves gathering a diverse circle of people who continually broaden our perspective on the world. Over the past decade, while our children were pursuing their education, we opened our doors to international students from various corners of the globe. This experience not only exposed our children to different languages and cultures but also enriched our own understanding of the world.

Guided by our belief in the value of multilingualism, we made the intentional choice for our children to receive their education in French. While English is the primary language spoken in our home, we recognized the significance of fluency in multiple languages. This decision was driven by our desire to provide them with the tools to communicate and engage effectively in diverse settings.

As a transformative step in our journey, we have recently divested ourselves of our family home and relinquished our corporate roles. This pivotal move has granted us the freedom to traverse the globe, reconnecting with old friends and cultivating new relationships along the way. Our commitment to meaningful connections and cross-cultural experiences continues to guide our path as we explore the world and all its wonders.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My wife Lisa's strengths are administration, English grammar, working with animals, and helping people. Lisa is forever adopting individuals, families, and animals. Her adopties include new Canadians navigating bureaucracy, young people in need of a little mothering and animals needing some understanding and a little training. My skills range from jack of all trades handyman to leading a team of volunteers in our church's kitchen feeding 150-200 people at our community dinners. I have experience laying a concrete foundation, tile work, basic mechanical, plumbing & electrical, woodworking, and many other upgrading or fix-it projects . Able to work with groups of people ensuring everyone feels included and appreciated.

Lisa and I love to be on the water sailing or boating in any way. We also like hiking in the mountains and exploring small towns and markets. We will always jump on any opportunity to dance and have taken courses in ballroom and Latin dance. When we travel our favorite way to experience a new community is by checking out the local markets and sharing a meal with old and new friends. Being physically fit is a priority for us and we are heavily involved with CrossFit. Lisa ranked in the top 10 of her category within Canada at the last CrossFit Open.
