Hey, I'm Vishnu. I'm into being outdoors and getting my hands dirty, so I've spent a lot of time on farms, helping with animal rescues, and pitching in on forest conservation projects. If it's a good cause and involves some hands-on work, I'm all in.

Community exchange is something I'm really passionate about. I love sharing skills, swapping stories, and learning from people all over the world. I'm always up for trying new things, whether that's picking up a new language, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or even practicing some yoga poses (still a work in progress, but I'm getting there).

I’m currently learning Spanish on Duolingo and making some progress. I know a few phrases now, but I’d love to learn more from a host or other Workawayers. Having real conversations would really help me improve, and I’m excited to practice and pick up new words together.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've gained a variety of experiences over the past few years. I've taught English, math, and basic computer skills to school kids, and volunteered in hostels and retreats where I helped with everything from cleaning and cooking to construction and carpentry.

I also spent about a year on different organic farms, getting my hands dirty with everything from manuring and composting to hauling heavy sacks. I even got to dive into the whole chocolate-making process, from harvesting and peeling to drying and roasting cacao. On top of that, I served as a guest coordinator, making sure large groups had a smooth stay and acting as the go-between for farm owners and guests.

My professional background is in business consulting, so I can also help projects with things like grants and fundraising strategies. I'm comfortable with physical work, I'm a solid communicator, and I'm always ready to jump in wherever I'm needed.

When I’m not volunteering, I enjoy playing strategic and fun board games—always up for a challenge. My hobbies usually involve working out or going for a run, and I love getting lost in a good book. I’ve also started going climbing occasionally and have recently developed a real interest in it. It’s been a great way to mix things up and stay active in a different way.
