Hello! My name is Vera and I am a 25 year old (medical) student from Austria!
I really love to meet new people and travel abroad, and I love how working together on projects has made me connect with people from all over the world! :)
At Graz (my hometown) I work at a restaurant, and both - the chatting with costumers as well as meal preparation in the kitchen bring me much joy!
At 17; I worked at a restaurant/Hotel in the Netherlands over summer and helped there with cleaning and kitchen work, and it was such an amazing experience overall!
In my free time (when I am not studying or working) I really love going on hikes or little bike tours, sometimes with my friends but also alone (because I really don't mind rainy weather - but my friends mostly do ^^).
From the age of 15 till 18 I was looking over my neighbors kids and was working with their English homework aswell, talking to and taking care of children was always easier for me :)
Even though I want to work as a doctor when I finished my studies, I really want to experience a little more of other jobs and other cultures and countries, because I think being able to understand people and see more of life than university is giving so much more than simple literature can do;

I used to learn Italian and French in school, but sadly I forgot a bit about that over time, but I'm interested in refreshing those language skill. Every other language you would love to teach me is welcome as well! I love how talking can bring people together, so I am more than ready to learn! ^^

Quais são suas habilidades?

My biggest skill would be that I bring joy and motivation whenever I am doing something (for work as well as for free time activities). That really helped me a lot in the past with my work in the service industry, aswell as in overcoming difficulties by understanding and then trying to improve the situation while staying calm :) I love to work with my hands; but sadly I don't have so much experience with carpentry (but I would love it if you want to instruct me!),
In the Past I worked a little with children, and had a summer job in a Hotel/Restaurant, where I helped with cleaning and kitchen work.
In the past I mostly worked as a waitress in different restaurants, as well as in small shops as a sales woman, where I learned how much I enjoy the small and friendly chats and a good work atmosphere!
I have a drivers license, and am not too bad of a cook :)

I am mostly interested in experiencing something new and meeting new amazing people on the way! Since I was young I loved playing music and singing together, as well as playing board games with friends or go on spontaneous adventures with friends!
I am vegetarian for 6 years, but I don't mind preparing meat for somebody else!
