Hi there!
My name is Cris (27) and I'm a teacher specialized in supporting students with special educational needs. I also teach French and Spanish as foreign languages.

I've already had experience sharing daily life and culture with hosts—I was an au pair for a French family for 13 months, and it was a wonderful opportunity for personal growth.

I'm looking for an immersive experience that will allow me to truly connect with a new culture from the inside. I love animals, music, meeting new people, and diving into new experiences. I'm always eager to learn and open to trying new things.

I'd love the chance to improve my English while contributing to exciting and meaningful projects. :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

We’re Cris and Chema—two creative, friendly, and adaptable people with a passion for learning, sharing, and connecting with others.

Cris is a problem-solver with strong empathy and a natural ability to learn quickly. Thanks to his work as a teacher, he has developed excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to teaching languages like Spanish and French. He has a talent for working with children and a deep understanding of their needs, having worked in public schools.

Chema is a highly skilled and resourceful person. He is very creative, calm, and deeply connected to nature and animals—just like Cris. Music is one of his biggest passions, and he has a unique sensitivity and appreciation for it. His experience as a waiter has helped him develop strong stress management skills, as well as patience and the ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.

We both love cooking and enjoy preparing traditional Spanish dishes such as paella, gazpacho, salmorejo, and tortilla de patatas. Sharing our culture through food is one of our favorite ways to connect with people!

We're open-minded, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand, learn something new, or start a new adventure together.

We love spending time with our pets, being outdoors, and traveling. Exploring new cities is something we truly enjoy—we love discovering their architecture, cultural life, local food, and music scenes. We also deeply appreciate the beauty of natural landscapes and the peace that comes with being surrounded by nature.

Music is a big source of inspiration for us, and we enjoy discovering new artists and genres from all over the world. At the same time, we also love cozy afternoons at home playing board games—everything from classic games to more creative and modern ones.

Spending quality time with our family and friends is something we truly value, and we always try to make space for those meaningful moments.
