My name is Tomo, 25years old and from Japan. I have been staying in Europe since May 2025.

I've been traveling around Europe with Workaway . I want to go with the flow and explore different places along the way.

As a Workawayer, I’m eager to learn new things! I’m interested in helping at hostels, as an au pair, or at animals. I also enjoy learning about local food, religions, and languages. I’d also like to continue improving my English.

Outside of traveling, my hobbies are writing ,reading,going for walks, and spending time in nature.

It was a pleasure hosting Tommo. She is a lovely, kind lady who always had a smile on her face. She reared 200 calves with another workaway student. They did a fantastic job. I spent 3 months working on Janet’s farm. Our main job was feeding milk to the calves every morning and evening. The calves were so lively and adorable, they made me laugh a lot. I already miss them❤️
Janet is a kind, generous, and wonderful person. Thank you so much for such a valuable experience!

I stayed there for two weeks. Even though I didn’t know much about their culture before my stay, they were very kind, taught me many things, and warmly welcomed me.I’m not vegetarian, so I was a little worried about the meals at first, but the food was delicious and pleasantly surprising.

I stayed with Serena and Alessandro for 20 days. They are hard-working, kind, and very welcoming. I mainly helped with breakfast cleanup, and Serena’s cooking was amazing — I especially miss her tiramisu ❤️
