I can offer a variety of skills. I'm an experienced English language teacher. I've helped with basic building projects and customer service. I want to learn about animals and animal care, food preservation, crafts and more.

I love the outdoors, animals, music, art. I'm an avid knitter, crocheter, papermaker, photographer. I love creating and I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I volunteered at farms and vegetable gardens.

It was an interesting experience. The children were cute and curious. Sovannarith welcomed me and even took us to a temple festival.

Here's a breakdown of my experience.

**Community
It's isolating unless other volunteers are present. You don't meet locals. The family keeps to itself which is understandable. Volunteers come and go.

It was a fun experience. The children were very energetic. The adults were keen to learn and teach me about Vietnam.
Because of the late reply, I couldn't help for long. I already had other plans. I would do it again if I happen to be in Da Nang.
