Hello, my name is Tijn.

I try to be a compassionate, understanding, authentic, trusting person.
As a volunteer i hope to contribute more than just physical work. But also friendship and memories. Wether this is with my host or other volunteers.

I have been travelling since september 2023 through wwoof.com and switched to workaway in december.
I'm travelling to find challenges and lessons that can help me create a stronger sense of self.
I would like to have a deeper understanding of myself and my emotions and live more connected with the world and beings around me.
I work on myself by meditating, journaling and reflecting on my interactions with others and my own thoughts.
I am incredibly gratefull for the growth i have made since the start of my journey even if not all parts where pleasant! (As expected)

I chose wwoofing and workaway so i can meet new people and experience their way of life, while simultaniously learning practical skills related to organic agriculture and -construction!
I hope to one day have my own page on wwoof where i can invite volunteers myself!

While many of my goals are individual goals, i don't plan to spend my time alone, in my tent/room working on myself after i have completed my contribution.
As an upcoming teacher i believe we can learn a lot from and WITH each other, and i prefer to enrich my moments/memories and growth by sharing them with others.

I enjoy reading fantasy-books (WOT), playing games, growing as a person, making fires, having meaningfull conversations, and discovering new hobbies.
I am currently learning spanish and playing the guitar!
I hope to pick up something artistic soon, but i have not found my medium yet.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have 5 months of experience as a gardener, i know how to use most gardening tools/equipment. (Pruning/weeding/planting/relocating)

I have experience with teaching children age 4-12. (i have studied 3 years to become a teacher) And while i don’t have a diploma yet and am not known with every subject. I enjoy teaching/learning from children a lot!

I have 4 months of wwoofing experience, basic agriculture and woodworking skills.

I enjoy deep-cleaning and organizing.
I am really interested in construction. (Mainly carpentry) and would love to learn more about it!!!

I would love to eat meals together, implying that i would also enjoy coocking a few times a week! I am a beginner in the kitchen!

As mentioned above. I enjoy being with others, but don't worry that i will constantly be tugging at your arm to spend time with me.
I will invite you to my activities. (Cooking, playing games, making fires, walks) and would love to join you in yours, but i don't expect you to always want my company.
I respect privacy and alone-time!!!! But i like mentioning that i want to create a personal connection with everyone:) So that no one is dissapointed when we decide to work together!
