I'm a traveller that wants to explore the world and also myself. I'm currently in my spiritual and physical journey since November, starting in Greece and now I'm in Poland for a period. Long story short about my life, I studied and finished my Bachelor in Biochemical Engineering and after 4 years of struggling myself out to finish it, I realize that molecules are not for me, and that people are:D

People and nature, I think this is my main focus in my life now. I've been to some eco-communities and it really change my point of view for trying to live a more sustainable life. Even from my early years, living in the village for a period, I realised how in love I am with nature. How much Mother Earth is giving us and how some people are really not caring about what is going on on this planet. So for me is really important to live as much as sustainable as possible, following permaculture principles.

I'm in a point in my life where I'm exploring a lot of changes inside. My heart became more and more open to people, my mind is more and more curious about life mysteries and finding hidden meanings behind every experience that I'm having. I'm someone that loves helping people, in any kind of way. I feel deep inside me that I'm here in this world with the purpose of sharing what I have inside myself, by helping and creating more harmony to people. Even if I'm a little stuck of finding a way to do it properly, I'm keep trying and trying and trying is transformative, cause if we don't try, we don't know if it's working or not:)

Quais são suas habilidades?
My life path been so diverse! Starting from when I was little, I lived a lot in my grandma's village, so I got a lot of gardening skills, from planting, taking care of, harvesting. Also we had a lot of animals, especially chickens (that are actually my favorite haha) and we were building a lots of shelves for them and taking care.

Then growing, I discovered more and more about living sustainable and got really interested in permaculture. Me and my friend tried a really small business growing Microgreens. We learned everything by our own, the planting, rooting, amount of water they need, light, temperature, everything. So it kind of stayed in an experimental state, with really little sales we did for some people.

As in work, I had a lot of jobs during my life. From coordinating volunteer team in festival, to bartending, working in a hotel, delivering food on the bicycle and even tried one time and internship in engineering, as finishing my bachelor in Biochemical Engineering.

I'm also very passionate about cooking. I didn't got the chance yet to work in a real kitchen, just when I worked in the hotel, but when I'm cooking, I'm the one cooking for everyone else. I like to explore this part, like a mini-ritual of making the food with a lot of love and tastyness. Especially since I became a vegetarian I made a lot of exploring in this part:)

And I like physical work, I love to see my hands dirty after a long day of working with them. I consider myself a strong woman, that's not afraid to do 'men's jobs'. Like building a house or shelter, to cutting wood, maintaining the home needs. I've been in the fields of olives in Greece for a month, and that was a really intense work to do, but I'm enjoying doing all kind of physical work:)

And a lot more abilities that I have, that maybe haven't discovered yet and I'm open to try a lot of new things!

Cudowny! Absolutely wonderful experience! As a last minute decision I needed to make, I would say that it was totally worth every moment. Taking part as a volunteer at their local language school was beyond any expectations. From day one, Adam and Kathrin were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that I felt part of the family and that I was comfortable… read more in their home.

My primary responsibility at the school was to upload Polish lessons, a task that Adam guided me through meticulously. Despite being new to it, I found the process straightforward, thanks to his clear instructions. The school also offered courses in German and Swiss German, which added to the vibrant linguistic environment. Working there not only helped me sharpen my technical skills but also allowed me to pick up some Polish. They even let me borrow some Polish-English books to help me learn more!

As a vegan, living in a new place can sometimes be challenging, but the family went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs. They had trusted me into this process, and almost became vegan themselves! Not only that they provided me anything that I needed, but I also had the chance to experiment my special recipes, while cooking for the whole family.

Living in Poland does come with its challenges—mainly, the cold weather. Adam and Kathrin pointed out even before my arrival to bring extra warm clothes, which were very much needed. It may not seem, but the weather there can get a bit colder than in the south part of Poland! They provided me with a cozy, private room downstairs complete with its own bathroom and kitchenette, which were simple yet perfectly comfortable.

In addition to my duties in the kitchen and with the online lessons, I had the chance to take part into the English conversation classes with the students. These sessions, held about five times a week, were not only educational but also a great way to interact with the students. The students were really nice and we had a lot of interesting topics to talk about.

When it comes to the city, it’s a really small one, but has everything that you need! On my stay, they even let me borrow a bike to explore it by myself.

Adam and Kathrin children are also worth mentioning. They were incredibly kind even from the first day I arrived, making sure I have everything that I needed. We had a lot of great time together, they are really open minded people and curious about life’s mysteries. I enjoyed and I had a lot of fun with them, I wish I could have stayed longer.

This experience was really important for me, as it made me not only volunteer in a new kind of environment for me, but I also felt part of a family. I felt cared and supported by them. Thank you once again, for everything that happened in these two weeks. Dziękuję bardzo! Hope to see you again:)
