Hi there!
My name is Suzan and I am new to this Workaway community. I currently took a sabbatical from work and step by step discovering where this will bring me. I recently walked the Camino de Santiago, 870 km from the Pyrenees to the Atlantic coast in Spain, where I learned about Workaway from people I met along the way.
I'm an active, outdoorsy person who enjoys hiking, cycling (The Netherlands is perfect for that!) and a little bit of surfing every now and then. I am also very much into meditation and yoga practice, and I am part of a (amateur) theatre group in The Netherlands. I enjoy visiting musea, theatre plays, and cinema.
I've mostly been working on human rights and humanitarian issues for several NGOs, and over the past years I've been working on social issues from a government administration role. From which I'm taking a break now :)
I am well travelled, I love meeting new people from different background and ages, speaking different languages, learning new things and perspectives and spending time outdoors. I want to make the most of my sabbatical by dedicating more time to this and explore different ways of life! I'm very curious to explore this (for me) new way of travelling.
