Hi everybody!
I would like to go back to my roots: a long time ago I loved travelling on my own taking part in some working holiday projects. Now, with grown up kids I feel like I sometimes want to take a break from family life and travel on my own again.
I'm a cheerful, active person who really enjoys meeting other people and learning from other cultures. Living in southern Germany, I've always enjoyed travelling very much, e.g. to the USA several times, to Costa Rica, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland and other countries where I mostly stayed with friends.
My personal interests are being outdoors, hiking, skiing, reading, music, nature in general and going out with friends.

I work as a teacher (English, PE). I also spreak a bit of Spanish, Italian and French. I'm a very practical person and have helped with painting, working in the garden / forest / farm and all kinds of little jobs around the house. I have expercience in child care, running a family home and have worked with mentally handicapped people.

Stefanie stayed with us for a week in August and we spent a very good time with her. Excellent and very recommendable workawayer who in a few days became part of our family. She is a very respectful and good mood person. We had a very rich and interesting cultural exchanching around long after meal sessions, and we had fun!!

I had the most wonderful workaway experience with Marisa and Mixel. My stay with them was for one week in August and I did some painting inside their house. Everything was well planned and prepared. The work was very rewarding and definitely not too much.
