Hello! My name is Soran and I am from Montréal, a bilingual city in Canada. I speak French, English, snd Spanish. I love language learning and I am hoping to become better my Spanish while I am in Uruguay this year.
I would describe myself as a people-person. I am social and love to get to know others and listen to their stories. I am currently a social work student.
Other interests of mine include swimming (I used to be a competitive swimmer), time in nature, gardening, and writing.

Quais são suas habilidades?

As a Social Work student, I have experience in non-profit organizations such as community centres and care homes for the elderly. This experience has given me the interpersonal skills necessary to work with people, which can now apply to different contexts. I have also worked as a lifeguard and can give swimming lessons.
I am becoming a decent cook, since that is an interest of mine. I am also the type of person who honestly enjoys mundane tasks, so I don't mine all the organizing and cleaning that goes on around a home, especially if I can do it with someone else while we chat and have fun. In this spirit, I also garden and do yard work with my friends. I would love to learn more about growing food.
I really like learning and teaching languages. I love to share my knowledge and little fun facts about my city, Montréal, or language, French. I also taught English for a while in Viet Nam.
I love taking long walks. I do so in my own city, but also when I am exploring a new place.
I repainted my whole current appartment and I can build or install small furniture.
Overall, I would say I am motivated and willing to work hard and learn. So, anything that I can be taught, I can do!
