Originally from Devon in England. A country girl from Dartmoor National Park. I'm a proud citizen of New Zealand also, having lived there for almost 20 years. I love the outdoors, nature, tramping (hiking), beaches, mountains, gardens, animals, fresh healthy sustainable food, exercise, people, places, exploration and overall every day wellbeing. I have a strong interest in food and nutrition. I am fit and healthy and very young for my 52 years. I take regular exercise by hiking, resistance band training and other activities like meditation and mindfulness to support my physical and mental health.
I have a wonderful teenage son based in Scotland with hid Dad, living his best life. It's very important to me that we're able to connect at least twice a week via the internet.
I am a mature and responsible home owner who treat other's property, pets and family (whanau is the Maori term for family) like my own. I am respectful, highly intuitive and sensitive to other people/s needs.
I consider myself to live a privilaged and unconventional life. I love to meet people. Experiences are more important than things to me. People, places and culture make me tick.
I'm excited to start my journey with Workaway 🥳, wherever that may be. -
