Hey :)

I am Simona, a lithuanian girl travelling the world. I live in the outskirts of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and work as a medical data analyst (it is one of the cases when it sounds fancier than it actually is).

However few years ago I decided that even living in the best country in the world is not enough and after graduating university I decided that is time to finally see some world (as Aladdin suggested). I travelled East and West ....of Europe and after putting big girl's pants and I finally booked tickets to another side of the globe - to the Hobit land of New Zealand.

I am a responsible worker (who is a bit slow, but very consistent and trustworthy) and friendly fellow to be around (even funny sometimes). I would love to learn new skills and help my hosts as much as I can.

I enjoy long walks with my dog, swimming, kayaking, team sports (if I find any teamates), meeting new people and exploring new places. I wish to say that I love jogging and hiking but I will just say that I am passionate enough to make myself do it and then be super happy that I did it.

I will be happy to share my knowledge about Lithuania's culture, people, history and make the most famous Lithuanian pink soup (or Barbie's soup nowadays) :)

So far I have some skills in these fields:
- Cooking (I have worked in a restourant in Ameland)
- Housekeeping (I have worked in a few B&B)
- Child care (last summer I have worked in a summer camp taking care of children aged between 6 and 14)
- Retail (I have been a seller in Christmas fairs)
- Gardening (I own a little garden and have worked in much bigger gardens in Tenerife and Sicily)
- Animal care (my family has very high maintanance (in terms of extensive walks and social interactions) dog and a cat, I have worked in Lithuanian biggest equestrian center long time ago)

Rhys and Jo accepted me and my friend quite last minute and for short period of time. The family is lovely, pets are characters (in a good way). The place is unique and stylish. We stayed separate from the family in a nice room.
