Hello. My name is Shaun. I'm from South Africa & speak English, Afrikaans & intermediate Spanish.

I'm a Spanish resident who's been doing Workaway for 3 years in Spain & Greece, & I'm currently the grounds manager at a horse farm in Ibiza.
I like to get my hands dirty while working on the land & getting cool, interesting projects done.

Previously a graphic designer, photographer & musician, now I’m a spiritually awakened & calm person who meditates, does Reiki energy healing & various negative energy removal work part-time for clients.
Perhaps you could make use of that. I’ll do it for you for free if you need it.

I just need a decent internet connection in my room & some food. I'm quite clean & tidy & will do housework too.

I prefer longer stays, but I'm open to short stays too.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've been enjoying a variety of different tasks, including :

Creating irrigation for gardens, including all the necessary plumbing fittings,

Growing vegetables from seeds to harvesting & taking care of them throughout the process,

Composting large piles of compost from scratch from greens, forest floor, food scraps, animal manure etc. (My one host of 7 months called me the compost king & kept me around because of that specific skill),

Creating fertilisers for plants,

Creating paths in gardens & other landscaping with rocks & chopped cane,

Building support structures from cane & wood for tomato & other plants,

Using power tools for DIY jobs, including chainsaws,

Building fences & gates with chicken wire, rebar & hardwood from the forest,

Fixing electric fences & testing current,

Building a chicken coop with cane, wood, cob & stones,

Grading horse arenas,

Feeding horses all day & understanding various supplements & medication,

General house maintenance & upkeep, including varnishing wooden beams & doors, painting, sanding,

Cleaning guest rooms and houses to a respectable standard,
Constructing dry toilets,

Cooking very well for many people at a time, including various dietary requirements,

Picking & stewing olives, & collecting almonds,

Pruning trees & weeding,

Feeding & taking care of chickens, horses, sheep, dogs & cats, & sometimes feral children,

Collecting Jeeps full of horse manure & making garden beds & fertiliser with it,

Cleaning pool filters & some pool maintenance,

Deep cleaning & draining koi fish pond & cleaning filters,

Collecting large rocks & chopping trees & building a roundhouse,

Building stable wooden stairs from forest wood,

I enjoy doing random tasks & exciting projects in the countryside, as I'm accustomed to not living in cities anymore. I don't get bored when living remotely, as I have lots of my own work to do.

I'm a graphic designer & photographer & run an online Tshirt shop.

I am also a Reiki practitioner, as well as some other types of energy work too, including inner child healing therapy.
This means that I could do some free work for you or your friends if you wish, if any of you feel that you're out of alignment & could benefit from your chakras & energy flow being aligned & well.

I like to play guitar & sing, as well as produce music, but I won't be bringing my guitar with me.
