Hey I’m Shannon, I'm 25, from Wales but originally from South Africa🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇿🇦 Currently in Adelaide, looking for opportunities in the Northern Territory again!
I have done many work exchanges here in Australia and in Oklahoma, USA! I’m no stranger to hard work and have lots of experience painting, gardening, cleaning and looking after animals.

Growing up on South African farms, I rode horses, took ominous dam swims, and developed a deep connection and appreciation for the great outdoors. I love animals and have a lot of experience with different types.
I’m eager to roll up my sleeves, get my hands dirty, and contribute in any way I can, whilst also making memories and connections that last a lifetime! 🤠

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have done many work exchanges, the last one being an amazing opportunity working on an agapanthus farm in Adelaide where I did a lot of gardening! I also did lots of painting on a new house.
I have also volunteered in a few hostels in Queensland and Alice Springs, doing housekeeping, keeping everything clean and tidy for guests as well as gardening. I have also done lots of minor renovation and maintenance work. I’m used to getting up early and working in the heat!

I’m easygoing, love to laugh, and don’t take life too seriously (though responsibilities are a whole different story!). Very eager to embrace different lifestyles especially sustainable living, and pick up new skills wherever I go.
