Hi! My name’s Sam and I’m 26 years old. I love exploring nature and travelling to new places. So far I’ve spent time travelling around Asia and Europe and I’m eager to see more of the world!
I have a big passion for taking photos, especially black and white photography. I want to use my time travelling to hone my skills and expand my portfolio.
In my spare time I love to go bouldering at my local centre and would really enjoy any opportunity to climb outdoors.
I'm a big animal lover having had a variety pets over the years, ranging from gerbils and fish to a rabbit and 2 cats. I'd be grateful to learn anything about animal welfare, especially how to rescue and rehabilitate them!
I'm also interested in self sustainability because in the future I want to be able to build/renovate my own house and provide food for myself in the countryside. Therefore, I'm trying to get as much relevant knowledge around house building/maintenance, gardening and vegetable growing and raising and caring for animals. I'd also appreciate any tips that would help me achieve this in the most eco friendly way possible. -

Quais são suas habilidades?
I’ve worked in retail for the last six and a half years, so I’m very comfortable with helping people in a social environment.
Due to the nature of the job I'm a very adaptable person and have to work with a wide variety of people as well as on my own. I'm a great communicator and am a well organised person.
I want to use Workaway to gain more knowledge and skills, especially in building, gardening, crafting and self sustainability. Because of this I will be happy to take on any work and will do it to the best of my ability.
I also love cooking and enjoy experimenting with the food I make. I've been cooking all my own meals for the past 5 years and will be happy to share any knowledge or skills I have picked up. -

A very sincere and quiet worker, who, after being introduced to a task, seemed to enjoy working on his own or in a small team as well.
He did a great job in building a DJ pedestal with natural stones, clay mortar and chestnut wood.
