Hi, I’m Ross 👋 I’m 36 and from Scotland.

Travel and living abroad have always been a big part of my life. I studied French and Italian at university and spent time living in France and Italy, including working as an au pair and teaching English. Those experiences gave me a real love for warmer climates, different cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life.

Professionally, my background is quite varied. I’ve worked in operations, project management, leadership, customer experience and events, including many years within large organisations, before going on to build my own projects in property and personal development.

I’m naturally a people person, but I’m also very organised and practical. I enjoy creating great experiences, welcoming people, coordinating the details behind the scenes and being someone a host or team can genuinely rely on.

Personal growth is a big part of my life too. I’m fascinated by mindset, human behaviour, consciousness and wellbeing, and I enjoy fitness, keeping active, nature, good food, meaningful conversations and being around people with different perspectives on life.

At this stage, I’m particularly drawn to opportunities around hospitality, retreats, guest experience, tourism, events, wellness and community projects. Somewhere I can contribute properly, meet interesting people and become part of the environment rather than simply pass through it.

I’m adaptable and open-minded about what comes next — whether that means joining somewhere for a few weeks, being based somewhere for a few months, or finding an opportunity that takes me somewhere completely unexpected. 🌍

I like a simpler, more intentional way of living… although I definitely still appreciate the finer things too! 🌱✨

Quais são suas habilidades?

I bring a combination of people skills, organisation and hands-on experience.

My professional background includes leadership, operations and project management, so I’m comfortable organising people and activities, solving problems, communicating with guests or customers, coordinating suppliers and keeping things running smoothly.

I also have experience creating and hosting events, from larger professional events to smaller curated experiences, and enjoy everything from planning and guest communication to hosting and creating the right atmosphere on the day.

I’ve taught English as a second language and studied French and Italian, so I’m also happy helping with languages, conversation practice and teaching.

Through running my own businesses, I’ve developed experience in customer service, social media, marketing, content, property projects and working independently.

Most importantly, I’m adaptable. I’m equally comfortable getting involved behind the scenes, welcoming guests, helping organise something, supporting a team or simply noticing what needs done and getting on with it.

After several years in the corporate world (leadership & project management), I left my job to pursue new directions 🌍. Alongside that, I’ve been working online as a coach — supporting others in personal growth, mindset, and awareness.

Now, I’m open to new experiences in warmer climates, combining travel, volunteering, and community projects. I’d love to connect with people and opportunities where I can share my skills (languages, coaching, leadership, event hosting, hospitality) and also learn new ones along the way.

I’m flexible and adaptable, whether it’s helping in a project, hosting, language exchange, or community support. Ideally, I’d also love opportunities that are paid or partially paid to help cover travel expenses while contributing fully.
