Hi I'm Rosa, I'm 19 from the UK. Currently I'm finishing a Foundation Art course, and I'm hoping to travel around Norway for the Summer and then spend a year in New Zealand. I love hiking and in Canada I completed a few multiday hikes, so I'd love to do some more. I really enjoy horse riding, both English and Western. I also like swimming, mountain biking, skiing, and miniature model making. I would like to learn some new skills especially DIY skills.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've worked as a cleaner in the UK and Canada, where I worked as a cleaner at a ski resort. Since 2018 I worked as a receptionist for a swim school, where I handled queries from customers and payments. Also for a while back home I worked at a B&B serving and making sandwiches for afternoon tea. I really enjoy horse riding and I have my own horse back at home. During my stay in Canada I worked at 2 ranches, where I spent my time looking after cattle, horses, and other animals, as well as fixing fencing and other odd jobs. I've completed my BHS ride safety silver award and for 3 years I volunteered at my local riding school where I would tack up the ponies, muck them out and keep the yard clean, and lead ponies in the lessons. I have an outdoor first aid certificate. I'm hard working, willing to learn and I will work outside in any weather (I'm from Wales so I'm used to working in rain, mud and more rain!)

I love reading, some of my favourite books are the harry potter series, the Book Thief, Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend and anything by Terry Pratchett or Roald Dahl. I've accepted a place on an art course for next year and I would love to study prop design or stop motion animation. For my final art project at A Levels I did an miniature model of my living room and that really set off my love for miniature model making. I also really enjoy baking, especially cakes (I've learnt I'm especially skilled at making banana bread)
