Hi there,

Hey, we are Robbie and Pragathi from UK and India living in London. We are a couple (29/28) who are looking to be doing 3/4 months work away in Canada from July.

Robbie has previously done work aways in Tanzania and enjoyed meeting hosts and learning about local culture and community. I have been working for NGOs for over 6 years in various roles but also raised in the country and previously worked on a farm so I can put in a good shift. Very excited to explore Canada's nature. I am a big hiker, cyclist, climber and eager to live in nature after too many years in London. I have lived and worked in Asia and Africa before and easily adjust to new environments.

Pragathi is a creative - a theatre artist, dancer and a newly graduated drama and movement therapist. I enjoy being in nature, going on hikes, climbing mountains and cycling. Having worked in IT for 5 years previously, I can teach basic technical skills. I can teach dance and drama and host creative arts workshops. In my current role as a psychotherapist, I work with children, young people and adults to explore the self and to work through any mental health issues. I like travelling, exploring and learning about new cultures and firmly believe that the best way to learn about a place is to be a part of it, contribute and work there to experience the way of living there. I am excited about the Workaway opportunities and the many joys it would bring :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

Robbie - Many years experience in research and fundraising for NGOs and Masters in International Development management. Also many years in bars/customer service roles so very happy to be people facing. Worked on a farm so comfortable with animals and have green fingers. Fit and healthy so more than happy with physical work and a hard worker.

Pragathi - A newly graduated Drama and Movement Therapist! I have over 8 years experience in theatre, dance and arts. I work with both children and adults, facilitating creative ways of exploring the self and mental health issues. I am happy to be in a people-facing role as well. A great cook, loves experimenting with food. I enjoy cleaning, taking care of the household, doing artsy decor. Also fit and healthy, so very happy to give a hand in the garden or other physical work and love to work with animals.
