Hello,

My name is Rim. I am 26 years old Lebanese student in Germany. I am studying European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations. I like to learn new cultures and to offer my skills in return. During the last year of my Masters, I have traveled and stayed in different countries in Europe (Germany, Norway, Slovenia, Italy, Uganda, etc). I realized how much I love traveling and connecting with new people. Through Workaway, I am looking for new exciting experiences. I am very well organized and responsible.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I learn quickly. I like to cook, and I make tasty Lebanese meals. I also like to work with others, volunteer, or teach. I have previously been a volunteer in a migrant community center in my country. I study European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations and interact with people from different backgrounds. I also studied journalism and worked as a journalist for a few years. I currently work remotely with a non-governmental organization that advocates for migrant workers rights and is based in Lebanon. I have writing and computer skills that can be useful. I also have high organizational skills. I like to engage with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I grew up in a rural area and I enjoy being in and learning about nature and agriculture.

I am new to Workaway, but I decided to give it a try. I have traveled a lot before, but what I usually miss in my travels is the local experience. Being able to engage with locals, absorb the culture, get a hint of the language, and taste the cuisine, is always exciting for me. At the same time, I like to be helpful and give back to the community. I am a fast learner, and I can always make my skills useful to the local community. I look forward to indulge in a new adventure!
