Hi, my name is Rhea, I am 27 years old, originally from England. I am currently volunteering in a community near Serra De Estrella where I cook meals for the community and events and also help with childcare. In England I was working in primary schools and nurseries, mainly working 121 with children who needed extra emotional, social and learning support. What I came to realise was how rigid the curriculum and education system can be in mainstream schools and the negative impact it can have. I am super interested in learning about different approaches to learning, focused on giving children the freedom to follow their natural curiosities, to connect with nature and themselves.

I love to travel and explore, I believe that voluntary work allows me to connect more deeply to places by meeting local people and supporting projects which align with my values and interests giving my trips more depth and learning. I enjoy living the middle of nature, hiking and cooking. I also follow a daily spiritual practice which I am always happy to share, I have completed a yoga teacher training in Hatha yoga which I continue to practice along with mediation and intuitive dance/movement.

- 250 hour YTT in Tantra and traditional Hatha Yoga.
- TEFL certificate to teach English.
