Hi! :)

I'm an osteopath and medical massuese, and have taken a break after years of working and studying to travel and explore the world. I'm hoping to use this time as an opportunity to learn about, and contribute to some inspiring and impactful initiatives out there!

I've been working in the field of complementary medicine for 10 years. Before that, I worked for a human rights organization - Physicians for Human Rights - advocating for equal health rights for immigrants, refugees and Palestinians in the occupied territories.

I'm a curious, positive and open minded person, and I'm looking to meet, share and socialize with people of all ages and backgrounds (and languages!).

I lead an environmentally concious life, making compost and reducing consumption and waste to a minimum. I'm vegan and have been loving and caring for animals my wholfe life.

In terms of volunteering, my greatest passions are ecological projects, animal protection, permaculutre, etc. I'm also interested in eco building and sailboats. I have plenty of past volunteering experience, some of it in pemaculture gardening, farming and eco building. I love working with my hands, and am happy to do any kind of manual work.

I grew up in a kibbutz, and have later on lived in various settings while volunteering - such as a commune, a permaculture farm, a host family... so I'm no stranger to hard work, communal living, and simple conditions - and I do well with all of those.

Note: I would also be very happy to volunteer my professional skills in my field (osteopathy/ massage/ alternative medicine) whenever there's an opportunity.

Second Note: While I am an Israeli citizen, I vehemently oppose my government and its despicable crimes in Gaza, the West Bank and elsewhere. I reject Zionism, war and violence in general.

I'm very passionate about learning new languages wherever I can, and practicing the ones I am not fluent in :) I'm not asking for lessons - I learn more from just listening, so I'll really appreciate any communication in anything that is not English 🙏 And of course I'm happy to help with the languages I'm fluent in.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am an osteopath and have been in the alternative medicine field in the past 10 years, and I love being able to help people in rebalancing their body and relieving pain.
I have plenty of experience volunteering in various capacities, including permaculture farming, eco building, education and youth counseling.
I also have experience in community life and sharing common living spaces.
I have excellent people skills and am quick to learn and communicate in different languages.
