Descrição
Hi !
I’m Raphael, i'm French, I'm 31 years old and I’m a teacher.
I realized a while ago that i wanted to take a break from my job and that i also wanted to change my way of traveling. I prefer meet people, share moments of life than to see monuments and to take pictures. But for that, it's nececesary to have time and to speak well languages.
That’s why I took a gap year ! I I traveled around the world during one year and i decided to stay in Bogota. So now, i live in Colombia.
I wish to discover the world from another point of view ; share good moments with locals, get acquainted with the culture, and above all, improve my language skills. I have a "correct" level of English and I want to get better. I can't wait to meet and listen to new people who have a different culture and point of view than mine.
I’ve already participated in two volunteering projects in South America with an other website, and tow other in Atlanta and New orleans with workaway.Interesses

Quais são suas habilidades?
My father is a farmer and I grew up on a farm in the countryside with lots of animal (cows, horses, cheeps, dogs). I’ve worked there for my first summer jobs as a teenager, it was a very varied and formative job. I know how to take care of an animal, drive a tractor, work with my hands. I have already helped to build buildings, I made a lot of fences, I also cut a lot of wood. So, I know use tools like hammer, electric screwdriver, drill, chainsaw, electric saw, ax.
Then I studied education and I became a P.E teacher, especially for teens from 11 to 15. I have a lot of experience working with kids from all age as a camp leader, soccer trainer or PE teacher.
I’m independent, organized and motivated. I’m easy-going, cheerful and I rarely complain and I adapt easily to any place.Idiomas

He was social and we enjoyed talking to him and learning about his life experiences. He even made us crepes before he left. I would definitely recommend Raphael to any host!
There are really nice people, welcoming, open minded, who like to meet, discover end talk with people.
They were patient with my average English and unfortunatly I couldn’t undestand all the jokes, but I improved myself a lot in English.
