Hello! I’m Racheli, a digital marketer by trade, but at heart, I’m an adventurer, a storyteller, and a community builder. I love pushing my own boundaries and finding new experiences that let me see the world differently, whether it’s crossing Morocco on a mini motorbike for charity, diving deep into the culture of festivals like Burning Man, or connecting with communities wherever I go.

I'm originally from New York, USA. I have lived abroad since 2009. I have always been passionate about creativity, curiosity, and meaningful causes. One of my biggest personal missions is to support women’s health and humanity wherever I go. I believe in finding ways to make life brighter and better, be it through charity, personal connections, or empowering others on their journeys.

Outside of work, I’m also a movement enthusiast (dancing, CrossFit, water sports, yoga etc.), a festival ambassador, and a digital content creator. These roles allow me to connect and network with people in a way that’s personal, fun, and often inspiring! When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me exploring new trails, creating content to share my experiences, or immersing myself in projects that help spread kindness, mentor critical skills and build connections in unexpected ways.

I’m excited about Workaway because it combines travel with a sense of purpose and community, and I’m eager to contribute to that. I can’t wait to meet hosts who are open to sharing their world with me while I bring a bit of my own sunshine, work ethic, and skills to their projects. Let’s create something beautiful together!

I recently finished motorcycling from Merzouga to Marrakesh and I’m looking to stay out for the next month somewhere tranquil in Morocco 💕

I am fluent in both English and Hebrew, and I’ve taught English to children in the past, so I’d be happy to work with others on language learning. While I enjoy teaching, I’m also interested in expanding my own skills, particularly in Arabic and French, which I’m eager to learn more of during my time in Morocco.

Professionally, I’m a digital marketer with expertise in social media management, content creation, and branding, specializing in helping creative individuals and small businesses connect with their audiences. I’m also a certified yoga teacher (trained at House of Om in Bali) and a certified personal trainer. I love teaching people about their bodies and sharing the joy of movement, blending wellness with mindfulness to create empowering experiences.

Alongside my marketing and wellness expertise, I have experience organizing events and fundraisers, handling everything from design and invitations to on-the-day coordination. I’m adaptable, resourceful, and a quick thinker, thriving in dynamic environments where I can contribute meaningfully. Whether it’s leading a class, supporting a community event, or helping a project come to life, I bring energy, empathy, and a strong work ethic to everything I do. I’m excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to a Workaway project where I can make a positive impact!
