My name is Pauline, I am from Brittany (France).
I started my travels 8 years ago with an humanitarian mission in Togo for 5 weeks which I did not enjoy but at least made me realised that it was not the way I wanted to travel.
Then I found out about workaway and started to use it. And work in places as a receptionist in hostels and backpackers. Indeed I volunteer twice in a Backpackers in South Africa and I worked for 6 months as a receptionist in a busy backpackers in Sydney and Bratislava. I like it because the job varies a lot. For example, in some of the places, I did some cleaning jobs, took guests on a pub crawl or even just showed them around.
I am currently travelling all over the world to discover new cultures, new countries, new languages, and to share experiences. I am very open to new opportunities.
I would be more than happy to help you and work with you to develop and improve some of my skills but also to learn some more
I love meeting new people as for me it is the base of travelling!

I stayed at the hostel for 6 weeks and I had such a good experience. Matea and the rest of the team were really welcoming and the other volunteers were amazing as well.

I had a good time at Uli's. He taught us a lot, like making Tajine, Bread , Jam..
The place is really chill and the view is amazing, also sleeping under the stars is a plus.
I recommend volunteering there.

Wow, Matt's place is the perfect definition of what a workaway is supposed to be : a cultural exchange.
I stayed there 5-6 weeks and from day one I felt like being part of the family. An international one. I had the chance to meet a lot of locals people and live like them.

Working in hostel during Corona time can be a bit different and tricky but Asen and the staff made sure the volunteers were feeling comfortable.

I spent four months in TB and I loved it, even though I was there during the slow season due to Covid, the first months were quite busy.
The hostel is great and feels really homy!

I came to this place, thinking I would stay a week and I ended up staying 2 months! This place is magical, relaxed.

Pauline came to volunteer with us for two weeks and was absolutely amazing to have around. Even though it was a quiet period at the hostel Pauline brought in a lot of joy and energy to the hostel making it seem more full then it was. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and would love to have her back at any time!

I spent 2 weeks on the Island and it was just awesome!! The staff is great, Liz and Luke are super chilled. The work is really easy and it gives you more than enough time to explore the island and meet the community. Definitely one of my best workaways! Thanks everyone for the great time!

I spent almost 3 weeks there and I can tell you it was really chill! It's perfect if you want to relax. Michelle and Ryan are really nice always making sure everything is fine. My stay at Irene and Dave's place was amazing. The work was fair, not too hard with a break just too make sure you get some energy to keep going. Also you can be sure that you will always have something good to eat!

I had a good and relaxing time at Claas' Hostel, I stayed there for almost 3 weeks and I had time to see a bit of the country but mainly to enjoy the view from the rooftop!

What an amazing month ad a half !
The job is really chill and it gives you the opportunity to meet a lot of guests, the staff is Amazing and makes you feel like home straight. So I arrived to volunteer in this hostel and I found a home and a family!
