Hey!
I’m originally from the desert Sonora, Mexico, but I’ve been living and working on sailboats since 2020. During that time I’ve lived with my partner in our sailboat in the sea of Cortez and the pacific coast of Mexico, I’ve crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Saint Lucia to Portugal delivering a boat, I’ve worked as a first mate and cook for a number of charter boat trips, I’ve done a 2 month trip on a modified Subaru forester, going from the south end of the Baja peninsula to Sonora, camping out in beautiful remote locations. For the past two summers I’ve worked for a non profit organization that does marine debris cleanup and data collection in remote islands on the gulf of Maine as the first mate and cook of the organization’s sailboat.

All of this to say that I love the ocean, I enjoy cooking for big groups of people and I have experience cooking a vegetarian diet (I’m not vegetarian but I’m happy to eat vegetarian), I’m used to living in community and in small off-grid settings, I spend a lot of time outdoors working with my body and that I really enjoy adventure!

I’m also a yoga instructor and a nutrition coach and I’m always happy to share what I know with other people.

I recently did a one month Workaway at a farm in New Mexico and I loved working with the land and the animals! My grandfather has a cattle ranch in the desert of Sonora and I have also spent some time helping take care of the cattle and other ranch duties.

I have very little experience with building and maintenance (mine is mostly related to boats) but I am eager to learn whatever is needed.
