My name is Omaima 🍀🌛🌞. I have been doing workaway for over 5 years and a half in Europe and the Americas, mainly in gardens, communities and animal sanctuaries. I have started traveling in this way because I didn't want to just visit but to find places to call home where I can work and grow while meeting and learning from many different people that I find in my way. I travel with the idea of finding people and places that are trying to heal and undo some of the damage made by humans, working and living in nature. During these years I've discovered my passion for a calm and meaningfull existence, working with the earth through my hands, creating vegetables, succulent or medicinal herb garden. My objective is to learn more about medecinal plants and endemic and wild plants. Moreover I am very interested in eco construction and new ways for sustainable and efficient ways of building in harmony with mother nature. I wish to learn more about the fungi world, would love to learn to identify and be able to grow them. I have an interest for practicing more yoga and getting into meditation. My skills are: -Creating gardens (from vegetables beds/ to take care of plants/ harvesting and ways to preserve veggies and herbs) - Taking care for animals - Cooking delicious vegan and vegetarian meals - Fermentation - Eco construction - Hospitality work (if needed)

My name is Pearl, I’ve been travelling for 8 years now since i was 18, I started by living and working in Australia for a year in the outback where I learned how much I loved to work in nature. After travelling around Asia, I started travelling with workaway in Europe and Latin America and it's been 6 years now. I volunteered in animal sanctuaries ,communities, farms, hostels and helped with all kind of projects. I mostly learned about gardening,animal care, sustainability, community living, eco-building and many other things. I also love cooking vegan food and love fermenting and preserving food. I’m always happy to learn new skills and experience new ways of living, learn from other’s perspectives and meet new people from different cultures. I would be happy to give you my help on any kind of projects you have and learn from them.
