Hello everyone!! :)

I'm Nora, a Swedish Chilean 22-year-old, born in Sweden. I'm currently studying a bachelor in biology and microbiology in my hometown in Sweden while at a theatre on the side. I spent last summer on the Faroe Islands working at a restaurant, which was an amazing experience.

I've come to realize that travelling somewhere with a purpose, meeting people I probably wouldn't have met otherwise and being able to work towards a goal is my favorite way of exploring new places. To ge to know different customs and the everyday life.

I love adventures, learning, sharing experiences and meaningful projects. Hiking, animals, nature, food and arts are some of the things I like the most.

Quais são suas habilidades?
I am currently working at two theaters in my hometown in Sweden. As a theatre host I am responsible for coordinating other staff, communicating with the technicians and making sure everything runs smoothly. I've worked at multiple cafés and restaurants as well!

With three younger siblings I have a lot of experience with younger kids. I'm used to the responsibilities that comes with younger kids; cooking food, helping with homework, picking up from school and just spending time together.

I speak Swedish, English and some Spanish. I'd love to learn as many languages as my brain can handle!

I enjoy taking care of animals, gardering and preserving food (for example making juice, jam or fruit leather). Being able to work outside is definitely a plus, but not a must.

I like doing different types of wood projects like making cutting boards or little cabinets. My dad is a carpenter and sometimes I help him with different projects, such as transporting material or chopping wood etc.

Painting and working with clay are also two of my big interests. Any kinds of DIY projects where you have to use your imagination, problem solving and be creative are definitely up my alley.

Above all, I'm always eager to learn new things. If you are willing to share your knowledge, then I'd love to listen!

We just loved having Nora here with us for several weeks! She is full of fun and good energy, learns quickly and works well. And always has a good movie to suggest. : ) She was easy to have as part of the family, and our son Noah loved having her as a "big sister". We would welcome her back in a moment!
