Hello and thank you for looking at my profile!!

I am a friendly, easy-going, reliable and well travelled South African. I was born in Johannesburg but moved to the UK about 18 years ago in order to satisfy my love of travel and experience all that the world has to offer. I love learning about other cultures, meeting new people and learning new things.

I am passionate about self-sufficient living and would love to learn more about this way of life. I believe in living a healthy life and taking care of oneself in the best way possible.

Growing up in South Africa I have a great love of animals of all kinds and nature in general and always feel my best when surrounded by trees and plants.

Thanks to volunteering I have experience in kitchen assistance, cooking, mowing lawns, weeding, planting, painting, hedging and walking and feeding taking care of a variety of pets.

I work 3 weeks on 3 weeks off as a private caregiver/personal assistant to a gentleman living with paralysis, During the 3 weeks I have off I usually travel and/or do Workaway experiences.

I am also quite handy with computers, ChatGPT, marketing (this was my previous job before becoming a carer) and creative writing.

Sadly Matt only came to us for a short period of time as we would have liked him to have stayed longer. He was extremely easy to get on with and picked up the dogs routine fast. He worked very hard and we had no cause for complaint at all.
We would welcome him back.
