Hello! Thank you for looking my profile, my name is Noa, 25 years old Japanese female.

***My language school has stated! Therefore, I can do only 1 week or less workaway experience until May***

MY STATUS: I am currently in my working holiday year since August in France, and I will stay in France until next August.

MY PURPOSE and WHAT I EXPECT: During this year, I would like to explore Europe countries and get to know more variety cultures in many fields and telling people about my culture as well.
I would love to communicate with my host, spending some time with them, Beside that, when I have some free time, I would like to looking around the region, walking around the house, try to make some friends by language exchange, and study French at home.

I am open-minded, easy-going person. I love discovering new things for me and challenge.
I respect what other people care about; especially their house rules.



MY PAST EXPERIENCE ABOUT CULTURAL EXCHANGE:
2014: Been study-abroad and stayed with host family (60s host parents and 20s host brother, 1 dog, 1 cat) for 10 days in Ohio, USA

2014-2015: Been study-abroad in high school and stayed with host family (20s-30s host parents and 3 dogs) for 10 months in Tennessee, USA

2017: Stayed at British-American host (40s host parents, 2 teenagers and 9 years old boy) place for 1 month by using a platform HelpX (which has same concept as workaway) in Sydney, AUS

2018-2019: Been study-abroad in university and had American roommate for 10 months in Pennsylvania, USA

2023: Been to language school and stayed with french host family (70s host parents) for 2 weeks.

Quais são suas habilidades?

WHAT I CAN OFFER: Of course I can offer a cultural exchange, Teaching some Japanese if you are interested in, also I can do household (dish-washing, doing laundry, cleaning, petsitting, fence painting...etc), also I love cooking especially Japanese cuisine.

From my past experience as a traveller, I have helped with: Dish-washing, Cleaning room, Doing laundry, daily household for wood-stove, unpacking boxes (there was a family who had a lot of boxes from overseas since they have moved in those days.)

Even though my English is still not like a native speaker, i can be a good partner to speak with in English for children too (In Japan, I had a part-time job as a English teacher at private school for 10-15 years olds students for 5 years)
