Hi:) I'm Nino (my pronouns are they/them) and I'm 22 years old. Im a very open person who is curious about so many things. I get exited easily and im always interested in getting to know new people and everything that comes with them - their upbringing, their favorite kind of music or their beliefs and view of the world. That's also one reason I wanted to travel. To learn about different ways of living than my way own. This year I also decided that id be a year for me to do all the (small) scary things I'd normally avoid doing. It helped me grow and learn so much about myself already. And traveling solo has also been a challenge so far but that's why I like it so much. Another part of traveling is the ability to be in nature so much. I really enjoy going on walks, being near water or just laying in the sun. I'm a big fan of practicing mindfulness and im so thankfull to (still) have such amazing nature on this planet. My worldview is influenced by feminist and leftwing ideas. I also like to do activism in my day to day life like being part of political groups and going to protests. Besides that I really enjoy games, crafts and music and they're best when shared with friends!

Sadly learning languages has always been quite difficult for me. Still im interessted in it becuase through languge we are able to connect more and / or to more people. Learning a language can help you understanding how person might see the world. I believe that language creates your reality. Im hoping to practice my Spanish.

Quais são suas habilidades?

After i finished high school, I went to school to become an occupational therapist. I just graduated this October. I've learned so many things professionally and personally at this time. I love the job of an occupational therapist, because you have to work in interdisciplinary teams, communicate clearly and transperently, be empathetic and be able to learn a lot of new skills depending on the occupation request/matter of your client. When I went to school to become an occupational therapist I've been working at 4 different places so that I could get a bride grasp of what it's like to be an occupational therapist. I've been working at a dayclinic for people with mental health issues where I was doing lots of crafts with my clients. At a integrationcafè I was working with disabled adults and thought of ways to solve any problems or difficulties they had during the day. I've also been working at a practice where I had a lot of clients after injuries involving their hands or with neurological diseases. The last workplace was a hospital for children who had major developmental delays. Being an occupational therapist is also a job where you learn a lot about crafts. I have basic knowledge in working with textile, wood and clay.

When I was younger I used to do babysitting and also petsitting. I've also been tutoring 3 students in different subjects such as maths, english and german.

Since travelling I also did volunteering in Argentina. I stayed at a community in the middle of the nature for almost 4 weeks. There I was working on the farm: planting, building fences, repairing and cooking for everyone. I also volunteered in iceland. Main tasks were cleaning, cooking, babysitting and animal care.

Besides that Im always interested in learning new skills and things.

After my traveling I'd love to go to Uni and study sociology and gender studies.
