Hello everyone!
Neda & Mehran here, from marvelous Iran! The country of mountains and deserts and also a little green part on the north, that we used to live there for past seven years.
Our friends tell us that you live in an apocalyptic style! Why? Because we do all the things that happen to us in life on our own. Repairs of our cars, repairs of electronic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic devices and any device that needs repair and maintenance in our house and farm. Also, we renovated an old house we bought with our own hands and we have some experience in building and construction works. For the past seven years, we lived in our homestead outside the city and engaged in organic farming and gardening.
Neda is a chemical engineer, but she is interested in any vehicle that has an engine, gearbox, or wheels, and she has been working with her truck on the roads outside the city for several years. She has been a drag, off-road, and karting driver. She has a very good relationship with animals and loves them. She does some voluntary environmental activities. She reads a lot and is interested in philosophy. She pays a lot of attention to trees and plants and by observing and researching, could diagnose their problems well.
Mehran's specialty is industrial hydraulics, but due to his accuracy and knowledge, he can repair almost any device. He is very calm and patient and does not do anything in a hurry. He also has good experience in pruning trees and growing pumpkins.
We are interested in volunteer working so that we can get to know the people and culture of other countries and be physically and mentally active and help others.
We want to fully understand a place by diving deep in the local culture, trying local food and meeting local people. Most of the times we prefer to stay away from touristy places because they are polluted by consumerism and mask the true identity of the country.
We started working and travelling together from the very beginning, and now our plan is to escape from our home routines and travel independently and through our self skills.
now(FEB 2024) we are in British Columbia and want to stay here for at least for a year.

now(FEB 2024) we are in British Columbia and want to stay here for at least 1 year. We both have valid open work permits here until 2027.

  When we are in our home we eat mostly vegetarian, but while traveling we are not strict on our diet. Just Mehran can't eat very hot spicy foods.
