I am a 30 years old Belgian guy, who started Woofing through HelpX during a Working Holiday in New-Zealand in 2015. Since then, I've been volunteering a lot, and like to discover new places and countries through volunteering, rather than "traditional" tourism.

I am quiet, open-minded, and very curious, always interested in learning new things. One of my main passion is languages, and I try to learn as much as I can during my free time and travels.

I am also very fond of manual work, and took some course/have some basic knowledge and experience in woodworking, electricity, building, and the like.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have already gathered quite some experience volunteering.

I started woofing in 2015 while backpacking in New-zealand, I worked in hostels as cleaner, then receptionist. I also worked in gardening, a bit of construction work, tourism (on a sail boat) etc ...

In 2020-21, I took a gap year, volunteering full time in Lithuania in a day center of the Red Cross for migrants and refugees.

I volunteered 2 years in Brussels visiting homeless people on the street, giving out food and hot drinks.

I like to learn new things, and am always happy to try new activities. I usually learn quite quickly.

I 'm practicing Aikido for 2 years and am really intrested in the Zen spirituality that is linked to it. I'd like to learn more about meditation and spiritual retreats.

Travelling consciously is important to me, and I aim to travel by bike as much as possible (I already cycled from Lithuania to Belgium).
