Hi! My name is Mila, I am 24 years old and I will finish my Masters in nutrition and health in December. I am interested in biology, nature, teaching and learning new things! I love being outside and taking care of plants and animals. I also like to swim, read, go on hikes and to go camping! I am a responsible, enthousiastic and social person, although I also like to be alone every now and then.
I have been learning about and working with horses since I was 8, mostly in the natural horsemanship way. It would be nice to also be able to be in contact with horses on my travels. At home I love to take care of my lovely guinea pigs, a job that my mom always wants to take over whenever I am away.
My first WorkAway experience was in Canada, where I lived and worked with a family of 6 on a lovely farm. Now I have a break in May and June, and would love to visit another farm/animal sanctuary to help out and learn more about another country!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have been working with and learning about horses since I was 8 years old. I learned a lot about natural horsemanship and body language. I am also a capable rider, I love riding out the most. I worked at some stables also, teaching and guiding rides in the forest and on the beach.
At these jobs I also worked at the stables, taking care of horses, dogs and cats (mucking out, feeding, filling haynets, move hay bales, watering, helping people visiting the stable, guiding rides, training young horses, walking and riding, and of course lots of cuddeling). I am a hard worker, not afraid of some rain, heat or poo.

I also work at a café, helping with practical chores like painting tables and watering plants, next to the daily chores of serving people, making coffee and lots of small talks. I also love to learn new things, so I am open to try everything!
