We are Marelie and Maximilian, both 30 years old, and we are taking the step to travel the world together. It is important to us to experience new countries in a way that goes beyond the typical tourist perspective. We bring a strong hands-on mentality and want to give our sense of adventure free rein through shared explorations.
A core goal of our world trip is to get to know a wide variety of cultures, traditions, and, above all, people. We want to experience the natural beauty of our planet firsthand and gather experiences that will enrich our lives in a lasting way.
From January 2026 onward, we will be on the road exploring the world, eager to meet new people, build networks, and see the world through more than just the eyes of tourists. By working through Workaway, we hope not only to gain valuable experience but also to save money, allowing us to stay longer in one place and truly immerse ourselves in local life.
Max has already worked on several farms, mostly dairy farms, and brings practical experience, skills, and a strong work ethic with him.
Marelie was born and raised on the countryside in a big house and is used to help wherever she can and sees things and needs proactively.

Wir sind ab Jänner 2026 auf dem Weg, die Welt zu erkunden und möchten dabei neue Menschen kennenlernen, Netzwerke bilden und die Welt nicht nur aus den Augen eines Touristen sehen. Durch die Arbeit via Workaway erhoffen wir uns zusätzlich zur Erfahrung auch Geld zu sparen, um so etwas länger an einem Ort bleiben zu können. Max hat bereits selbst in einigen Landwirtschaften (Meist Milchvieh-Betriebe) gearbeitet und bringt Erfahrung und Können mit.
