Hello!

My name is Maud, I am 31 years old and I come from France. I am currently travelling around New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa and enjoying the opportunity to discover the country, meet new people, and experience different ways of life.

I would describe myself as friendly, curious, adaptable, and easy to live with. I enjoy spending time outdoors, being around animals, and learning practical skills. I am not afraid of physical work and I like staying active and helping wherever I can.

Over the years I have worked in customer service, hospitality, temporary jobs, and seasonal work in New Zealand, which has taught me reliability, flexibility, and how to work well with different people. I am happy to help with gardening, cleaning, cooking, animal care, household tasks, and general maintenance.

I have my own car, a positive attitude, and I always try to contribute to a friendly and respectful atmosphere. For me, volunteering is not only about helping but also about sharing experiences, learning from others, and creating meaningful connections.

I look forward to meeting new people and discovering more of New Zealand through volunteering.

I have experience working in hotels, including reception and customer service roles, where I developed strong communication and organisational skills.

I am currently doing a volunteer placement in New Zealand, helping with general household tasks as well as caring for chickens and a dog. I enjoy being around animals and learning new practical skills.

I am reliable, adaptable, and happy to help wherever needed, whether it’s gardening, cleaning, cooking, animal care, or other day-to-day tasks. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing experiences, and contributing to a positive and friendly environment.

Maud was an absolute pleasure to have stay with our family of 4 on our lifestyle block.

She helped a lot with our veg patch and asparagus patch, and became part of the family very quickly.

Maud first came to us in February and enthusiastically helped in the garden even though this was new to her. Maud happily takes on any allocated job and can work independently. Maud is a sweet, strong, and power energy. She puts her full energy to everything she does. She is also a nice person to talk to, she is really passionate and is always full of questions about life.
