Hello! We're Matt and Imogen, a couple in our mid twenties currently living in Suffolk, UK. We're really interested in genuine sustainability, particularly in relation to food production and green energy. We've got lots of experience in veg growing, including experience volunteering on community gardens and workers' coops as well as horticultural qualifications, and we completed an amazing DEFRA pilot course in business skills for market gardening in May 2023. We've got our own allotment, and for several months this spring we ran a micro sourdough bakery from our home, and have just finished making our own cob bread oven! We love being in nature, reading, watching good films and nipping around on our bikes, and we do a lot of climate activism. We're aiming to set up our own organic and agroecological market garden in the near (ish) future. We're chatty, friendly, open-minded, easy-going people who are really keen to work, learn & share with others!

Both of us would be open to teaching a bit of English, and Imogen could also teach some French. We'd love to learn a new language, particularly Spanish!

Our skills include veg growing, sourdough baking, sustainability/ permaculture, cooking (Matt works as a commis chef), homebrewing, DIY carpentry, wildlife projects, hospitality and events work, business skills, animal care, babysitting (Imogen has done lots of this) and language tuition.
