Having worked as an architect in the past, I am familiar with construction and building techniques. I have also worked as an educator for surfing so I have several years of experience doing that. I also lived in Costa Rica for a short time and worked with exotic animals at an animal rescue center.

Mark from the USA was such a kind soul and a wonderful workaway and guest to have with our whānau. He spent a lot of time helping us out at the marae with weeding and other jobs, and he was always happy to lend a hand wherever it was needed.
